TAV Georgia has taken part in ITB Berlin Travel Trade Show

From 7 till 11 March 2012, operator company of Tbilisi and Batumi International Airports TAV Georgia presented it’s stand on a world’s leading trade fair ITB Berlin, already for the third time. “ITB Berlin is one of the most important events in the world’s tourism sector. This year Georgian corner was very popular among the visitors, we gave them comprehensive answers about the services and destinations of Tbilisi and Batumi International Airports”- stated TAV Georgia’s Administration Manager Tea Zakaradze. TAV Airports Holding was also presented on the trade fair, supporting its subsidiary company TAV Georgia. The leading trade fair for the worldwide travel industry, the ITB Berlin Travel Trade Show offers numerous opportunities for exhibitors to present their products and services, innovations, identify the latest trends and consumer behavior in the international tourism industry. Alike the previous years, TAV Georgia managed to interest several air companies and tourism agencies with Tbilisi and Batumi International Airports services: “During the past 5 days we held a number of meetings with various Air companies. Hungarian low cost air company Wizz Air and Polish Yes Airlines were interested in Batumi International Airport the most. It is not excluded that during the summer season this air companies will start a regular flights to Batumi international Airport” – said Tea Zakaradze. 10,644 companies from 187 countries exhibited the international travel industry’s entire range of products and services from March 7th to 11th at ITB Berlin, the world’s leading trade fair for the international travel industry. This year 113, 006 trade visitors attended the show.
