Tbilisi International Airport was given the Marketing Award on yearly Routes CIS Awards 2013 ceremony in Ukraine

On July 21-23, yearly Routes CIS Awards spectacular networking air forum was held in Donetsk, Ukraine, where Tbilisi International Airport has achieved another victory and won The Routes Airport Marketing Awards 2013 prize. The Routes Awards recognizes and rewards the highest standards of marketing activities undertaken by airports and tourism authorities. This year, the qualified judges Highly Recommended Tbilisi International Airport and awarded TAV Georgia for Excellence in Airport Marketing. “We would like to thank all the airlines that voted for us. This is a clear sign of appreciation for the efforts our whole team has put into the development of Tbilisi International Airport. It was a pleasant surprise for us to get this prestigious award” – stated TAV Georgia’s General Manager Mete Erkal. Almost 300 aviation professionals were gathered to witness the presentation of the awards and to take part in the 3rd Routes CIS – the only route development event for the entire CIS region. It should be noted, that it is the fourth serious award for TAV Georgia, the operator company of Tbilisi and Batumi International Airport. In 2010-2011, TAV Georgia has been twice named The Best Emerging Airport in Russia and Eastern Europe. In 2011 our company also won the title of The Golden Brand 2010 Transportation and Services nomination.
