New Ukrainian Airline at Tbilisi International Airport

New Ukrainian air company “YANAIR” has performed first flight Kiev - Tbilisi – Kiev from Tbilisi International Airport on August 19, 2014. Regular flights will be performed three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Flights will be performed via Boeing 737 aircraft. “We are glad that new Ukrainian air company “YANAIR” has performed first flight from Kiev to Tbilisi and back. From now on passengers of Tbilisi International Airport will be able to land in both Boryspil and Zhulian airports in Kiev. Entry of each new air company to Georgian aviation market is another clear example of development of tourism and aviation sector in Georgia” - said TAV Georgia’s General Manager Mr. Mete Erkal. It has to be mentioned that “YANAIR” performs regular flights Kiev - Batumi – Kiev twice a week. “YANAIR” was founded in 2012. Air Company started regular flights in 2013. For now “YANAIR” performs regular flights towards Odessa and Batumi and seasonal charter flights to Montenegro and Bulgaria.
