Eurowings at Tbilisi International Airport

On July 4, Tbilisi International Airport marked the entrance of a German low-cost airline Eurowings onto the Georgian aviation market with an official ceremony. Arrived 171 passengers at Tbilisi International Airport, were welcomed by Minister of Economy, Deputy minister of economy, Ambassador of Germany, airline representatives, Georgian aviation authorities and TAV Georgia Management.

Dusseldorf – Tbilisi flights will be operated on Sundays in the beginning and as of 21st of July on Wednesdays and Sundays by Airbus 320 type of aircrafts.

In total three airlines are performing flights from Germany 9 times a week: Georgian Airways (Berlin); Lufthansa (Munich); Eurowings (Dusseldorf).

Nowadays, 31 airlines operating flights towards 34 destinations from Tbilisi International Airport.
